Introduction 1.The Graduate Institute of Social Work (GISW) was established in 2005. Our mission is to train master’s of social work (MSW) students to become future professional social workers focusing on family and social work value.
2.The MSW program has strong faculty who are experts in various areas, such as children, youth, women, aging, and family. Our faculty members provide state-of-the-art knowledge and skills to meet diverse learning needs among our students.
3.When students are doing their field work and completing master’s theses, we emphasize on connecting and integrating theoretical frameworks with social work practice to meet the needs of the practice-oriented development of professional social work.
4.The MSW program actively reflects to the globalization of education and highly values interdisciplinary study. The GISW team builds students’ culture competency, connects students with various educational resources, and encourages them to do international field practicum.
